The Pot Noodle Alternative . Throw away those Pot Noodles sneakily hiding in the cupboard - cook this up the night before , pop it in the fridge and take it with you in the morning . Once hungry , add some boiling water and then reminisce about those days spent warming up Super Noodles …..
Grab some dried noodles and cook them as usual , throw them into your glass jar and add a handful of mixed vegetables . Bean-sprouts , spring onion , dried coriander and add some meat if you ’ d like to spice things up . Add any sauces you ’ ve got to hand - soy sauce , hot sauce and stock powder to add extra flavouring and then you ’ re sorted . Get your chopsticks at the ready , everyone ’ s going to be SO jealous of you tomorrow .
Second Day Pasta : Ay nothing beats a bit of old pasta salad ! Dinner sorted tonight , lunch sorted tomorrow . With some cooked brown pasta , add some cherry tomatoes , red
and yellow pepper ( only the best flavours !) slices of mozzarella and a sprinkle of olive oil and basil . Make as many batches as you can and leave to chill . Sorted .
Salad Stuffed Avocado : Tasting the rainbow has never looked so good . I mean , who doesn ’ t love a bit of Avocado every now and again ? Scoop out the middle and replace it with chopped tomatoes , peppers , radishes and dress it with a tiny bit of zingy lime . With a sprinkle of feta cheese over the top , you ’ ve got the perfect combination of something creamy , crunchy and cooling . And no cooking necessary !
Black Bean Salad : For a little something refreshing , light and summery , this vegan recipe is packed with protein and really versatile . With one can of black beans and diced mango , we ’ ve combined savoury and sweet for this sweet dish . With a table spoon of lime , lemon and orange juice , and a dash of some salt
and pepper on top - who said being healthy had to be boring ?!
Ultimate Winter Vegetable Soup : Make this in bulk , freeze it and stock up for winter . Vegetable soup is always a winner . With all your favourite veg - onion , carrots , broccoli , peas , corn , spinach , mix it with 8 cups vegetable broth and boil it up . With a funky ice cube tray or some freezable sandwich bags , say goodbye to those tired evenings spent slaving over the over .
The full whole world of healthy eating , dieting and having the ‘ ideal lifestyle ’ is a tricky one . One part of me will happily eat through a large Maccies and not feel full , whilst the other half feels completely guilty about it and so I then eat an apple to make up for it and , you know , make up for it . Going glutenfree has never been easier , with a whole aisle dedicated to it in the supermarkets it gives the impression that these specialist products are suitable for everyone beyond those with a gluten intolerance and coeliac disease . By leaving out these wholegrains , their rich array of vitamins , minerals and fibre , unless diagnosed you ’ re probably doing more harm than good .
