Raw Eggs : How do you like yours in the morning ? On our hair ! Raw egg : rich in fats , protein and naturally moisturing and perfect for oilier hair types as the whites contain bacteria eating enzymes .
Cup of Dairy Products : We ’ re not fussy , greek yoghurt or sour cream all is good . Full of good bacteria , these creamy products will help to reverse the damage for all those styling products .
Tablespoons of Olive Oil : We SWEAR by it at Juicebox . For weak , tired and dry hair , olive oil is amazing for improving the tensile strength of the hair and also for sorting out that itchy scalp .
Tablespoons of Honey : Amazing to eat with apple , amazing on your hair ! Honey is a natural antibacterial so perfect for a deep clean . Attracting and locking in moisture , the honey is super soothing and softening ( and smells really good too ).
Tablespoon of Lemon : For shiny shiny hair ! Aswell as absorbing any excess oil thanks to its acidic and enzymic properties , for a good summer glow and to lighten the hair a couple of drops of lemon will do the trick .
Avocado : For frizzy hair , an avocado will do the trick . We ’ re all obsessed with them at the moment . Full of natural fats and proteins , nothing will beat the moisturising power of these green beauties .
Banana : This ain ’ t no smoothie . Super rich and super moisturising , mashed together this is absolute heaven for your hair .

Hair straighteners , dryers , bleach , backcombing - our hair has seen it ALL . It ’ s time to take a couple of steps back and , you know , give your hair a little TLC . Put that random hair serum down and instead open your fridge - we ’ re going back to basics . With some kitchen staples combined with some homegrown bits , your hair will SO thank you for this .

Pick and choose a couple of foodie bits from the list , blend them together , pile your mix on damp hair and leave on for 30 minutes . Ta-dah !
