T ell us abit about yourself before you became a model . I was born in Liverpool in ‘ 93 then moved to Rainford ( a small village in the North-West ) when I was four . I love being from the North ! In the fashion industry it ’ s quite a novelty ; people love it ! I grew up playing sports especially football and my dad coached our football team , I was a real tom boy but at the moment I don ’ t play any sports which I really miss . In secondary school I was quite quiet with people who weren ’ t my friends which is completely different from now . In this job you have to be very socialable as you meet new people everyday and in castings you only have a very small window of time to show your personality but I honestly never thought I would be a model as a job . The fact that I get to travel so much with modelling is something I love : I would of never had that opportunity before . It ’ s crazy and so different from my life back home but I ’ m loving every minute of it .

How and when did you get into modelling ? I was scouted at the clothes show in Birmingham when I was on a school trip .
Was it something you had thought about doing before or was it an opportunity that came up and something you decided to try ?

I had never really thought about it seriously . Family members had told me I should give it a go so when the opportunity came I thought why not ? I never thought I would be making a living out of it a few years down the line .
Can you remember your very first modelling job , how did it feel ? My first job was the Burberry A / W 2010 campaign , so I was thrown in at the deep end ! I just remember not really knowing what was happening . I ’ d never even been on a set before let alone shooting a big campaign .

“ i STILL GET goosebumps

WHEN I WATCH IT BACK

Did you ever think you would get this far with modelling and be this successful ? No , it all happened really quickly . I didn ’ t know what was going to come of it when I first started . I ’ ve been really lucky .
What has been the most memorable modelling job in your career so far ? Opening the Burberry show definitely . It ’ s such an honour , I couldn ’ t believe it when they told me . I still get goosebumps when I watch it back !
What is the best piece of advice you have been given in this industry ? To not take things personally . In an industry where you are constantly being judged you need to remember that . Also just have fun ! It ’ s a great job you have to enjoy every minute .
