Do you think homosexual males and homosexual females are perceived differently ?
I openly admit that both homosexual males and female experience discrimination in our modern society , but can ’ t help but feel homosexual females have been sexualized to the point of a false sense of ‘ acceptance ’. We often see examples in our media today of homosexual females being viewed as ‘ sexy ’, whereas homosexual males are portrayed as ‘ perverted ’. The fact we live
in a society where one same sex relationship is more accepted than another due to what is determined right by the media is a worrying thought .
However , I think it ’ s now more than ever the LGBTI community should be joined as a strong unit . With the rise of Transgender hate crime in America and increasing intolerance of different identities , its now more than ever we fight for the right of the LGBTI community .
How would you describe your look ?
Although I ’ ve always enjoyed comfort , I ’ ve been raised in a house-hold were fashion was high on the priority list . With numerous family members in the fashion industry its always been an influence over how I dress now .

What does being a girl mean to you ?
As a proud feminist , being born a female has greatly shaped who I am as a person now . It cant be argued that growing up in a world such as ours now is hard for women , and any chance I can get to help create a more equal world for the future generation is one I want to take .
I have recently given a talk on the effects of Internalized misogyny in our society . The idea that a female must distance herself from her own gender in order to feel unique or special is one reinforced by the media , and something which needs to be changed .
So , what does being a girl mean to me ? It means resilience , and it means determination and unity .
