London Fashion Week ; known as one of the ‘ big four ’ in the world as far as high profile fashion events go is an occasion organized by the British Fashion Council . Thanks to LFW , London has a firm spot on the global fashion scene with the opportunity to see our British favorites , such as Alexander McQueen , Burberry and Vivienne Westwood reinvent how we see style .
With over 5,000 visitors attending , it is sure not to disappoint with buyers , TV & radio teams , bloggers , photographers , journalists , etc . Also , keeping up with the times , LFW has brought out a digital schedule that will allow the public to view live streamed shows .
The dates for this year are from Friday 12th September to Tuesday 16th September , where we will get the chance to see S / S15 collections .

ALTERNATIVE FASHION WEEK
Alternative fashion week allows emerging designers to show off their most eccentric and exciting designs . With all shows being free of charge there is no excuse not to join the crowd and get your fashion fix .
Aside from the skilled designers , the event will include live music and markets , which will occur over a six-day period
With the occasion pushing ethically sourced products , original and recycled materials feature quite a lot in their designs . Also , they try to encourage a range of models so the diversity on the catwalk is definitely there .
You can find the event at Spitalfields Market ; which is known as ‘ London ’ s cultural quarter ’. This little title makes it the perfect destination for the quirky to sophisticated alternative fashion .
