If you ’ re tired of going to the same old bars in London and want something a little ‘ edgier ’ that ’ s unique , trendy and has an exciting atmosphere , then try out Frevd Cafe . It ’ s been around since the late 80s and is still the place to be . It is located on Shaftesbury Avenue .
When
taking a visit to Frevd , you first notice the shop upstairs which has trees growing up the building , you then have to walk down a flight of stairs that are well hidden . When accessing the bar it reminded me of an underground basement which has a cool atmosphere that kind of gives an old yet quirky industrial feel . Frevd also houses a micro art gallery on the aged concrete walls , which continuously changes each month . Frevd is definitely the place to go if you ’ re a fan of cocktails that are reasonably priced . The cocktail I had ( one of Frevd ’ s most popular ) was the MONZA which is made up of vodka , Campari , passionfruit and apple juice . Frevd is known for serving its legendary 40 odd affordable cocktails and much else , including lunch dishes such as soups , salads and sandwiches that are all freshly made , making it the perfect place to relax or chill . So if you fancy having a fun yet chilled day out with friends and want a taste of something a little different , Frevd is the place to be seen ! 20
