G : - Haim or Warpaint ? A : - I do really like Haim actually but I didn ’ t know much of the stuff but I tell you who I think is amazing at the moment ; Foxes ! Yeah , awesome
G : - Would you rather give up your voice or your sight ? A : - Sight . Definitely my brother could tell you I couldn ’ t do without speaking ..
G : - Have you met any of your music heroes and have they given you any music advice ? A : - I ’ ve met Ed Sheeran and he is a music hero of mine . I met him before he was famous , he actually crashed on our sofa when he was gigging and had no money performing around the UK . But he has been a big inspiration in terms of how he did it because it was just gigs . I mean he gigged like crazy nearly 300 nights in a year !
G : - If your were to collaborate with someone ( dead or alive ), who would it be ? A : - So I ’ ve written this song , it lends itself to an collaboration and I think it suits a rapper . I really wanna collaborate with a rapper ! At the same time theres this girl who does her own stuff in New York I think . But like the coolest person would be like Jay Z or even Tinie Tempah or A $ AP Rocky . Seen him live and loved it .
G : - Since this is the ‘ Boys ’ issue finish the sentence ! “ When I was a boy , I ...” A : - ... was a lot chubbier ! ( laughs ) Omg ! I was a chubby , chubby monkey ! I was the chubbier of the lot .
G : - If you never had to work , what would you do with your life ? A : - Surf everyday ! Always been a water baby and my Mum is a big beach bum and she lives on the beach actually so we ’ ve always grown up around beaches . When i was on my gap year I just started surfing and became fully addicted . But me and my brother have a city surf clothing brand so I ’ m kinda trying to turn it into some form of a career , so that would be cool . But ideally I would live in a little house near a really nice surf creek preferably in a warm country . Maybe LA ..
G : - If you could leave the world one piece of advice , what would it be ? A : - Do what you wanna do . I think that if you do what you wanna do then you will always be happy . So when choosing a career , choose it because you love it
G : - What can we expect from Andy Jordan in the future ? A : - Hopefully quite a lot ! I ’ m gonna say hopefully a big music career .
We loved talking all things music with you Andy ! Pre-Order his debut EP ‘ Geography ’ on iTunes now !
