PERCIVAL CLOTHING 43 BERWICK ST
“ The design of the store is clean and contemporary with purpose-built furniture . The Sculpture House have collaborated with us on a specially-commissioned piece by artist Alex Chinneck set into the shop floor . It is an artwork in concrete , crafted in a British workshop in a design that mimics a Persian rug . We see it as a good fit in the store in its play on material , in the same way our clothing designs play on heritage and innovation . The building also houses the Percival studio and company HQ . All designs are created in the basement below the shop . We regularly run in-store events such as exhibitions , talks and collaborations with other local Soho businesses .”
Having done an internship with Percival several odd years ago - to see Percival open their first boutique was like a motherwatching their baby take their first step ! In close competition with Oliver Spencer , Percival has it ’ s similarities yet has it ’ s own identity . It appeals to the urban guy , the smart guy or the inbetweener .
