The graduate shows as well as the new Cruise Collections captivating satins , vinyls and metallics brought a new angle to mens fashion for the new modern man . This trend will be a favourite amongst designers as well as appreciated by their buyers . Now that high street and designer stores have adopted the new mantra of ‘ shimmer and shine ’; we look forward to all things texture , bright and of course : shiny . With black coated shine waved knitwear jumpers , silver loafers and perspex accessories .
Trending patterns aren ' t only made for clothing but crosses over to accessories and your general lifestyle , adding a beautiful subtlety which is able to tie in as a matching piece or complete an outfit . Living in the city of London , we see lots of individual interpretations of trends through personal styling , which is a gift to many . Looks like the girls are taking a leaf out of the mens book too ! What we will see from both menswear and womenswear this season are oversized layering , clean cut tailoring and coats with wrinkles and creases for extra character . For us guys , there is pressure to step up in style since London Collections : Mens is arriving soon ( 15-17th June ).
