Jenessa & Johanna Digest HQ xx 4 What we’ve been up to this month Jenessa This month’s been mad busy! I’ve just moved into a beautiful new Victorian house, which has got me lusting after 50s homewares even more than usual - oh Pyrex, be still my beating heart! Moving has been a great excuse for a good old fashioned clear out too - who knew it was possible for a girl to own so many dresses she’s never worn? Festival season has also had me gandering all over the country 2000 Trees in Cheltenham was a highlight, not to mention Beacons with Judy HQ! Phew, I need a nap... Johanna Even though I love crafting, when it comes to sewing I’m as hopeless as they come. However, when I found this velvet skirt in a kilo sale bin whose hemline needed a bit of TLC, I knew it was now or never. I’d taken these types of risks before and never gotten the result I wanted, but I went for it anyway. I am happy to announce that I navigated through that difficult operation with no major problems and am now a very happy owner of this beauty. So the moral of the story is - taking risks for gorgeous velvet skirts is always worth it.
