The final between Mudranov and Smetov was a hard fought one. At one point, Mudranov executed a dynamic flying juji-gatame that had Smetov's arm straightend. But Smetov managed to stand up and matte was called. The match went into Golden Score. There, Mudranov executed a perfectly-timed harai-tsurikomi-ashi which scored waza-ari.
