As you have probably heard, I have decided to step down from the position of
associate dean for research and graduate studies for COSAM. This has been a
difficult decision for me, as every aspect of my ADRG position I have found
enjoyable and professionally fulfilling (except perhaps for the constant volume
of email). Working with the faculty in the college (I think I know almost all
of them now) and people in the office has been a very satisfying aspect of my
time in this position.
It is a genuine honor to be selected as the associate dean for research and
graduate studies in COSAM. I would like to take the opportunity to thank
