LIKE DAUGHTER
Celia Harrison and her daughter, Sally, are alike
in many ways. They have the same infectious smile
and positive outlook on life, they are both driven
to succeed in whatever they do, and both mother
and daughter share a curiosity for medicine and
passion for helping others. But the parallels do not
end there.
Celia, pre-medicine/chemistry ’84, came to
Auburn University with an eye toward medical
school. So did Sally, a junior microbiology major
with a pre-medicine concentration. Celia was the
correspondent secretary for Alpha Epsilon Delta,
the pre-health professional honor society in the
College of Sciences and Mathematics. Sally will
serve as the secretary for Alpha Epsilon Delta
during the 2014-15 academic year, and as such,
she will fulfill the same roles and responsibilities
her mother handled during her time at Auburn,
