Top 10 Things you need to know
about our new Patient Tower
Monday, August 21, 2017 will be an important day for the residents of Burlington as
it’s the first day of regular operations for patients and staff in the new Patient Tower.
The inpatient move takes place on Sunday, August 20, 2017. In the new Patient Tower,
you will find the new Main Hospital Lobby, Information Desk, Gift Shop, Food Court,
Emergency Department, Cancer Clinic, Surgery – Operating Rooms, Recovery and
Inpatient Unit, Intensive Care Unit and Acute Medicine Inpatient Unit.

The new JBH address will be 1245 Lakeshore Road.
The Main Entrance and Emergency Department
entrance will be located on the main floor of the
Patient Tower, accessible from Lakeshore Road.

At 6:00am on Sunday August 20, the current
Emergency Department in the existing hospital
will permanently close. At 6:00am Sunday
August 20, the Emergency Department located
on the main floor of the Patient Tower will open
to provide patient care.
