S ome people think that allowing refugees to enter their country is a bad thing, either be- cause they believe it is bad for the economy and their country can't afford it, either because they are scared that they're letting terror- ists cross their borders. While the first reason is self- ish, the latter is just wrong. Refu- gees are normal people, forced to leave their own home so they won't get murdered. They are not terrorists, and it is our moral obli- gation to help those in need, and not making their lives even harder by discriminating them and de- claring them unworthy of our help. That said, of course European countries should open their door to refugees, and we should do the best we can to help them.
