The film I watched in class , “ The Hundred-Foot Journey ” by Lasse Hallstrom , narrates the journey of a young Indian cook , Hassan , and his family . They moved to a small village in France where they opened a restaurant . The Kadam family was a target of discrimination and racism because of their culture and traditions . In the beginning people didn ’ t accept them , they were judged .
Film reviews
“ The Hundred – Foot journey ”
In my opinion , we shouldn ´ t judge people based on their culture or traditions , we should accept them and learn from them . I think that discriminating and being racist to others is the most horrible thing . We are all different , after all , so we should accept everyone and respect one another .
