A STORY OF A TOURIST IN BELGIUM

Hi, my name is matt. I’m from France and I live there but I love Belgium. Last month I went in Belgium for 2 weeks.
First, I went in Brussels. That’s the european capital of Europe. I stayed there one week. I visited the most famous district of Brussels, situated in the historic center of the city. I’ve visited the square, it was so beautiful. I’ve went in a very good restaurant in the center of the square. A little further I’ve seen the statue of Manneken pis who represent a little man who is urinating.
Then, I went to the Royal Palace, it’s the official residence of the Belgian royal family. In the Royal Borough I’ve seen the Palace of the Nation, the Palace of the Academies and the Palace of Fine Arts.
After, I’ve visited the Atomium. I had to pay 11 euro to enter into a sphere. But it was worth it, the view was amazing.
The second week I went to Bruges. Bruges is called “Venice of the north”. I’ve seen a lot of Gothic brick buildings we do not see anywhere else. It was very beautiful. The historic center of Bruges is a World Heritage Site by Unesco. I’ve visited religious monuments. Bruges is located near the North Sea. I swam in the sea but the water was so cold.
Those 2 weeks were the best of my life. Belgium is the best country of the whole world. You can visit a lot of beautiful places. I recommend you to go to this country.
