Are you about your business? Does it dominate your thinking and your future goals for success? If that is true, then you are living “The Business Life”. What is actually …The Business Life”? TBL is the ups and downs of developing a business. There are happy times and sad times that don’t always mirror the profits and losses. TBL can be difficult, but the rewards can be so great. I can hire you for $25 an hour for four hours a day for five days a week. This Errol Jones, M.Ed, MBA rate earns you $100 a day for 5 days or $500 a week. Decent mon- Founder of Jones TOWERS ey for a lot of people. When I asked for people to apply, nearly every hand in the room went up…UNTIL…I explained the entrepreneur’s role. We charged enough to generate $500 daily or $2,500 for the week. After paying the $25 an hour employee, the entrepreneur went home with $2,000. Fifteen hundred dollars more than the employee changed the minds of everyone in the room. Employee or Entrepreneur? Both have their place, but entrepreneurship has a lot of advantages. “The Business Life” speaks to those differences. It highlights what an average person may go through on their way to business success. The road to success takes you through winding roads of experience that make the majority of the travelers quit and turn around. But not us, we will continue to pursue “The Business Life”. What is it? TBL is about us. Me, you, them, and whomever else we meet along the path. We will meet female business owners. We will meet male entrepreneurs. We will meet college and high school age entrepreneurs. BUT we are looking for middle school business hopefuls. Yes, middle school young people. This is an age that is easily overlooked for their potential contributions to local communities. We know what they can do. I spent a number of years in public school teaching these young people. I am convinced that we can accomplish things that will make the nation take note. Here is the plan. We need female business owners or want to be owners who are willing to compete against AND work with other female business leaders in the community. We need male business owners who will be on the show and compete with the females and the other males…their team mates. Yes, it will be a mess with enough stress for everyone. Now, toss in the college and high school students and you have a lot to think about while the nation watches. Sponsors, advertisers, and subscribers work together to make this reality show a smash hit and a profitable benefit to guests and candidates for the show. I’m the host of the show, Errol A. Jones.
