Marek, the teacher, is Slovak. Students are asked to do the above worksheets. He attends to
the groups and answers questions. Students work in pairs. Everything is done in French
(students and teacher only use L2). This is just the second year the teacher is teaching in L2
as he did not know any French before. The agreement with the Belgian government for the
French section states that Belgium can either send a lecturer or teach a Slovak teacher, which
is what they did with Marek. He managed to achieve a B2 level of French in one year by
having morning and evening classes for one academic year at the University of Liége.
