Protect Environmentally-Sensitive Land through the Sentinel Landscapes
Program
Continue to seek partnership opportunities with federal, state and local agencies,
conservation organizations, and willing private property owners to acquire real
property or conservation easements and to provide incentives to protect working
agricultural land with intent of sustaining military readiness and protecting
valuable natural resources in eastern North Carolina.
This strategy should consider and support the findings and outcomes of Strategy
BIO-1A.
