Global sustainability
Our Global Sustainability Commitment outlines the four pillars of Building a Better Tomorrow (BaBT) that are
most important to our business in terms of the services we provide to clients and our operational impacts.
The ‘Workplaces’ pillar of our BaBT program covers (amongst other things) our energy use and emissions
production. While we can make the biggest difference in our clients’ real estate, JLL also seeks to occupy more
efficient and flexible offices around the world. We can play our part by driving down energy and resource use
and subsequent carbon emissions from both JLL offices and business travel activities. We seek to procure
sustainable materials and strive for green building and well-being certifications where possible for our leased
space. We aim to provide our employees with office space that supports their health, safety and productivity by
employing aspects such as flexible working, better access to daylight and enhanced technology solutions – all
with a minimal environmental impact.
Social responsibility
As part of our commitment to create real value in a world that is constantly changing, JLL is determined to be
a good corporate citizen in every corner of our global community, holding ourselves accountable for the social,
environmental and economic impact of our operations.
As members of an international business community, we recognize our Corporate Social Responsibility in
our various roles – as occupiers of buildings, managers of buildings, and as advisers to investors, developers,
constructors and occupiers. We encourage corporate citizenship and sustainability everywhere we operate, and
we seek to improve the communities in which our people work and live. This includes commitment to:

Ethics
JLL stands for uncompromising integrity and highest ethical conduct. We are proud of our reputation and are determined
to protect and enhance it. Our global Code of Business Ethics is signed by every employee at every level on joining the
firm, and once a year thereafter to ensure compliance to globally agreed ethics standards across the firm. Dedicated
compliance officers oversee adherence to our Code of Business Ethics and we maintain an Ethics Hotline and ethics
website to communicate any possible violation of our ethical principles www.jllethicsreports.com. We have been awarded
the accolade as one of the ‘World’s Most Ethical Companies’ for 13 consecutive years.
Diversity & inclusion
Our JLL Code of Ethics includes a policy against harassment based on racial, ethnic or physical characteristics,
religious beliefs, age, gender identity or sexual orientation. Every employee at every level is required to sign the
Code when joining the firm, and every year we require employees’ recertification of their commitment to our
ethics and corporate policies.
Employees are encouraged to use JLL’s ethics hotline or log on to the ethics website from anywhere in the world
to express concerns or questions or to report a possible violation of the Code of Ethics, including discrimination.
Employees may do so anonymously and in a range of languages.
