This convergence is enabled by technology and process automation which will help clients achieve their strategic business objectives around productivity and talent. Technology and process automation also allows us to deliver best in class scalable facility services across client size and industry. We are currently engaged in the transformation of our technology integration to drive better facilities management delivery and more value. This has been a multi-year, multi-million-dollar investment that ranges from core service components to integrated reporting and analysis of the data collected from various work streams within FM and other services. Our approach is unique in terms of the size of our investment, global reach, application scope, and ambition of vision that it encompasses. Key investments include: New product development - Development of new products such as Facilities Flex which allows the provision of services across the full spectrum of client needs. Facilities Flex is a flexible option that allows clients to maintain their in-house facilities management team and choose only the services they want. Technology-driven efficiencies - By introducing new systems along with mobile-enabled functions, we have improved the overall quality of service delivery to our clients. We are embedding our core processes, maintenance standards, and data standards within our technology, which allows us to automate our workflow and ensure adherence to best practices and standards, enabling productivity, compliance and consistency across FM operations. Data governance - Strong data governance is imperative. We have adopted the Informatica master data management platform and set up a dedicated business data governance team to ensure that our business intelligence reporting platform can support data-driven decision-making and predictive analytics. Human experience focus - Our facilities management services are expanding to encompass a broad range of employee services, from providing space and workplace technology to securing “extras” or supports, such as a hotel concierge. Technology and operational excellence is imperative, but are vigilant in our continued focus on the people in the facilities we manage. Connected workplace JLL continues to invest in smart building technologies and the application of the IoT and connected devices in order to provide building services and amenities that increase employee satisfaction and retention. Our IFM team can go beyond managing peripherals to controlling elements that affect cost and comfort, such as heating, lighting, vertical transportation, and energy usage, using a central integrated building network.
