RAIN AND UMBRELLAS
WHAT YOU NEED

Count each colour raindrop and write the number in the
correct colour blocks below

Piece of white paper
Blue paint
Cookie cups
Khokis
Pipe cleaners

METHOD
Dip your
finger in
the blue
paint and
then stamp
your blue
fingerprints
on a white
piece of
paper (these
will be the
rain drops)
Colour in
cookie cups
in different colours using khokis
Bend each cookie cup over and place a pipe
cleaner through the middle of them for the
umbrella handle
Stick it on the page that you made with the
blue fingerprints

Yummy Delights – dirt dessert
INGREDIENTS
• 3 or 4 chocolate cookies
• 1 cup fruit yoghurt or pudding
• ½ cup desiccated coconut

Green food colouring
2 or 3 candy worms
Small empty yoghurt container
Plastic bag

METHOD
1. Make “dirt” by crushing chocolate cookies in a plastic bag.
2. Put about one-third of the crushed cookies into the bottom of an empty
yoghurt container.
3. Spread fruit yoghurt on top of the cookies.
4. Follow the yoghurt with “grass cuttings” – a sprinkling of coconut that has been
tinted green with food colouring.
5. “Hide” a worm in the “grass cuttings”.
6. Complete your dessert by adding the remaining cookie crumbs and two more worms.
7. Enjoy your compost treat!
