DELOITTE EMPOWERS
ORT JET MENTORS
2014 HAS ALMOST COME TO AN END AND THERE
is no better time to reflect on the
moments where ORT JET was able
to connect and make an impact. The
ORT JET mentors have had a fantastic
year attending business enrichment
forums, proudly hosted and sponsored
by Deloitte.
Since establishing the ORT JET and
Deloitte partnership in January 2012,
“Deloitte values its partnership with ORT JET, with whom we share a passion for
developing the talent and potential of South Africans to the betterment of our
country.” DAVE WILSON, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER OF CLIENTS AND INDUSTRIES AT DELOITTE
mentors have joined enrichment programmes that have become dynamic
drivers for professional growth and development. The events hosted by Deloitte aim to equip mentors with the
best business acumen to ensure the
highest quality of expertise for mentees
on ORT JET’s Mentorship Programme.
Over the last 12 months, ORT JET
mentors were given the opportunity to
learn from industry experts from
Deloitte, covering a range of business
topics while networking amongst each
other. With ORTJET’s active mentor
base of over 600 volunteers in both Johannesburg and Cape Town, the impact
this shared knowledge and networking
achieved is phenomenal and a true testament to the incredibly generous spirit
of our community.
