WHAT YOU NEED
• Paper
• Stickers
• Khokis
•Stapler

WHAT YOU DO
• Trace a hand and cut it out on a
coloured piece of paper.
• Use the traced hand as a template and
trace a number of hands on different
pieces of paper according to the
number of pages you want in the book.
(One page can be for the front cover,
one page for the back cover, one page
for the intermediate family, one page
Yummy Delights Egg in a hole
INGREDIENTS
• Bread
• Eggs
• Cookie-cutter (any shape) or just a knife
suitable to cut a hole in bread
• Oil for frying (olive oil)
METHOD
• Take your cookie-cutter and cut a hole in the
centre of a slice of bread
• The children can help with this part.
Unusually-shaped cutters might be more fun
• Preheat pan
• Place bread in a medium-hot pan, frying side
one for a minute or so
• Flip the bread over when brown
• Turn the heat down a bit
• Break the egg into a glass and check it
• Quickly, as soon as you flip the bread, add the
egg into the hole
• Make sure the bread and egg cook at the same
time, not too hot, not too cold
• Once the egg is ready, take it off the stove and
enjoy it

Draw a border around each hand, so
it looks like a hand, using thick black
khoki.
Give each page a title and decorate it
accordingly. For example, on the family
page you can draw each member’s face
on it, photographs of each member can
be used, or stickers of faces can be used,
like in the example.
Once all the pages have been
decorated, staple them together.
Now your book is ready to read.
