The entire country is serviced with our centres in Joburg, Cape Town and Umhlanga. With teams of Rabbis, teachers and councillors
and a wide variety of programmes aimed at uplifting every level of Jewish life, our programmes ensure that the lives of others are
given a sense of purpose and meaning.
To highlight a mere sample of our broad range of activities in Johannesburg:
More than 6000 children attend our heritage workshops annually
1350 children attend Gan Yisrael camps in July and December
Up to 80 children from special needs schools attend our camp in August
10 000 Purim packs distributed annually
Over 2000 people receive Shmurah Matzah every Pesach
Up to 100 senior citizens attend Chabad House daily for shiurim
On a monthly basis, 1400 people are provide hot meals monthly as part of Something Filling
Over 180 previously unemployed individuals have been given entrepreneurial employment opportunities through One Time

10 Grow Your Life Libraries have opened in various informal settlements throughout Gauteng
As part of the Change the World for Good campaign, over One Million ARK’s to be distributed this year
