When you get home and the reality of life
settles back, you reflect on the trip and you
relive, in countless ways, the way you have
changed. So many little comments made by
so many lecturers rush back and keep the
flame alive. Notes that you wrote get reread; photos that you took get relooked at;
and reunions get organised to keep the sisterhood alive. When I got back, I would
greet random friends and tell them about
my trip, but when an alumni JWRP friend
saw me – we would pack
