PEOPLE MOVES JEWELLERY STORES
Victoria McKay has given notice that
she is stepping down as chief operating
officer of London Diamond Bourse
(LDB), after six years in the position.
Bourse president Alan Cohen

in positioning the LDB as a progressive
bourse worldwide transforming the
“inwardly focused private members
club into a respected professional trade
association with a global profile”.
McKay will remain in the short term
to short term to complete ongoing
projects, such as moving the exchange
to its new location, after which she
will work as a consultant to assist with
managing the launch.
Cohen said: “On behalf of the
Council of Management, I would like
to thank [Victoria] for many significant
achievements; not least the past three
years of all-consuming work while she
headed our team to find a new suitable
home for the LDB. The trade will never
know just what a mammoth task this
has been.
“Again, we cannot thank Victoria
enough for the dedication, passion
and enthusiasm she has given to our
organisation and, we wish her very best
of luck in her exciting new chapter.”
Stacey Aylott will take over the reins

and interchangeable watch straps in
NATO, mesh and leather in addition to
signature watches for men and women.
St David’s Partnership, which is a
joint venture between Landsec and
Intu, was advised by JLL and Cushman
and Wakefield while Stephen Kane
and Company represented Daniel

The launch of the regional icon store
follows the opening of international
fashion brand Stradivarius in its first
Welsh store earlier this year.
Colin Flinn, regional managing
director - west at Intu, said: “The
arrival of Daniel Wellington is a clear
signal that St David’s is one of the
UK’s premium retail destinations.
This international brand joining St
David’s follows the success of other
flagship stores outside of London for
retailers such as Victoria’s Secret and
Stradivarius.
“Daniel Wellington is a great
addition to our retail offer and is
reflective of the growth within this
category as a whole.”
