Lustrous Jewellery presents new Rainbow Collection

Pearl Jewellery brand Lustrous has presented its new ‘ Rainbow Collection ’, in time for the upcoming Pearl Month in June .
The Rainbow Collection includes a variety of baroque pearl pieces in a rainbow of colours sure to delight any pearl jewellery lovers .
Formed of characteristic irregular looks , each item in the new collection has been created with Lustrous ’ s signature ‘ Rainbow ’ baroque pearls , which come in a variety of colours including white , peach , pink , gold , plum , and aubergine-purple .
Alongside their natural colours and lustres , the ‘ rainbow ’ pearls come in statement sizes too . To achieve this the pearls had a different nucleating process comparing to their traditional freshwater pearls peers .
Some of the most versatile pieces in the new collection include the Moving Baroque Pearl Pendant Necklace and Baroque Pearl Leather Bracelet , and the Baroque Pearl Long Necklace .
Lustrous Jewellery founder Lin Johnson , commenting on the collection , said : “ Cultured pearl jewellery is growing ever more popular in the everyday jewellery market , as customers become more knowledgeable about cultured pearls than ever before , they start to search for the pearls ( jewellery ) that is different and characteristic .

Carl Edmond launches Joel Kinnamanfronted campaign

Swedish watch brand Carl Edmond has launched its first major campaign , featuring actor Joel Kinnaman as the face of the brand ’ s namesake character , Carl Edmond .
The brand was launched in September last year and says its watches combine “ Swiss sophistication and Swedish heritage ”. The colour palettes and minimalist aesthetic were designed by Swiss watch designer Eric Giroud and his protégée Adrian Glessing .
To personify their creation , the brand is centering its flagship campaign around the brand ’ s namesake character , Carl Edmond . “ Carl Edmond is an adventurer , an explorer , a vagabond and a diplomat living a life extraordinary to the fullest deluxe ,” said Carl Edmond founder Ali Nouri . “ I ’ d love to be more like Carl ,” he added .
Hollywood actor and fellow Swede Kinnaman is best known for his roles in Altered Carbon and Suicide Squad . He said : “ If I was stranded on a deserted island and could bring one thing only . I would bring Carl Edmond . And if it was the other way around . I would beg Carl to bring me .”
The leather used for the wristbands is Swedish Tärnsjö , a 140-year-old institution that stands among the remaining 5 % of tanning houses worldwide that still uphold the legacy of an environmentally friendly vegetablebased tanning tradition .
The watches themselves use Swiss quartz movements and sapphire crystals presented in two classically Scandinavian shapes : the round , classic – Ryolit , and the bold , square – Granit . The dials come in an array of colors : white , black , gunmetal , cameo , navy and limed spruce .

Wakefields leaves CMJ to join Houlden group

Following 28 years as a member of The Company of Master Jewellers ( CMJ ), Wakefields Jewellers has announced it is to leave the CMJ and join the Houlden buying group .
Dominic and Melanie Wakefield , managing directors of the jewellers said they felt the “ networking and support ” that Wakefields has had throughout its time with the group has “ contributed to the store ’ s development , leading to its evolution as the business that it is today ”.
Speaking out on the decision , Melanie Wakefield said : “ We both feel that the friends we ’ ve made on our journey with the CMJ will transcend our decision to leave . The support we ’ ve received over the years has been truly invaluable , and we will always stay in touch .”
Dominic Wakefield who was financial director on the board of the CMJ from 2005 - 2013 , said : “ The last couple of years have seen a shift in the business . With a new focus on bridal , fine jewellery and watches , we ’ ve reduced our silver brand offering .
“ We ’ ve found ourselves in a position where our brand portfolio has aligned with the Houlden buying group , and believe that for us personally as a business , joining Houlden will present us with new networking opportunities that will continue to allow us to forge our path in our next chapter .”
Houlden chief executive , Helen Haddow , added : “ We are delighted to welcome Wakefields as part of the Houlden Advantage . They are a perfect extension to our existing premium membership with over 100 years ’ experience on the high street .
