Trustee Speaks
Dear Parent,
Our Mind Body Soul programme which combines academics, cocurriculars and life skills continues to create a platform of
expression for our learners, where the sheer joy of learning and
understanding is reflected in the way they approach a new topic
introduced, an event or a new sporting skill. This has been
demonstrated year after year, and we are satisfied as educators as
you would be as parents.
It is this freedom, this exposure to a variety of learning experiences
be it field trips or the National Geographic Explorer or First In Math
or homeroom time which has been instrumental in allowing
learners to successfully host yet another thematic presentation for
their parents this Quarter, sharing all they have learnt, their
rationale and understanding. Some visiting heads of schools from
other educational institutes were in awe with the clarity,
confidence and content being delivered in each work station, an
outstanding achievement for the hardwork put in by teachers and
the learners!
Our goal is the last 3 years has been to build an understanding and
develop their thinking skills further which will define their
academic success in latter years. We have continuously stressed our
goal has been to build a strong foundation which enables us to
escalate and scale up and introduce with ease as the programme
evolves.
We truly appreciate the support and open discussions we have had
with parents through PTA meets or class meets and this partnership
between the home and school ensures that we are able to create
bigger and effective programmes for our learners.
Together we have identified areas of opportunities and channelised
all our findings into a structured Language Enrichment (Writing
skills) programme which will be shared with parents during the
Orientations scheduled for Quarter 3 as well as Math and Science
value adds, again practically demonstrated to one and all during
our quarterly orientations.
Each and every learner and his or her progress is critical to us and
we have created individual focus areas to build on skills which
require assistance and escalate those that are developed already.
This remains our commitment and we urge parents to work with
the school team, aware that the goals of academic excellence are
common and will be achieved.
We are excited about the ICSE Candidate status achieved and
believe continued and dedicated efforts by the school team and
learners will position Jbcn International School Borivali as a
premier educational institute in the country.
Our request as educators to all parents is allow the learners to
blossom and develop at their own pace and allow them to live and
realise their own dreams. The self realisation, and being
accountable for their own actions, sometimes means they will make
mistakes but we believe these life lessons will truly make them
complete individuals, our ultimate goal.
We forward to welcoming our learners back to school and are
excited to introduce new strategies and idea this December!

Dear Parent,
Let me begin with a statement by our great former PresidentDr
A.P.J Kalam during his address to the British Parliament.
'If there is Righteousness in your heart, there is beauty in your
character. If there is beauty in your character, there is harmony
at home. If there is harmony at home, there is order in the
Nation'. If there is order in the Nation, there is Peace in the
world.'
At JBCN we believe young people are the key to building a better
future and we try to imbibe the same in our learners. JBCN has
been supporting learners to become creative problem solvers and
entrepreneurial inventors through education programs
encouraging critical thinking, digital literacy and collaboration.
We aim to promote active learning experiences and encourage
learners to apply their classroom learning to real-world issues –
nurturing young talents to thrive as champions of tomorrow.
This was very much evident during our Theme Presentation. I am
quite sure the parents had a sense of pride when they saw their
young ones explain to them the theory behind all the observed
concepts.
As the sponsors of tomorrow, JBCN is directly involved in
transforming education to enrich the lives of children with
boundless opportunities, opened up by innovation and
technology – inspiring and enabling the next generation of
innovators capable of driving the economic growth of our
future.
At JBCN we believe that Language, Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math (LSTEM) education is vital to solving
global challenges. We have always encouraged our learners to
“Think Indian, Act Global”, as they say in it Sanskrit
“VasudhaivaKutumbakam”(world as family).
We believe that we never stop learning and want all of our
children to develop a love of learning and be equipped with the
skills to be lifelong learners.
