Ribera
Javea’s Dance Group
Portitxol has organised
events for the weekend of
13th and 14th September,
for fans of folk dances both for those already
familiar as those who
want to learn.
The first performance,
conducted
by
Lutxo
Palop will cover “Danses
tradicionals
a l’air de
la Ribera” and is open
to the participation of all
groups in the Valencian
Community and fans in
general.
The organisation has
opened up registration
for the course (priced at
10 euros) which can be

or

The “Grup de Danses”
has also arranged for
accommodation at the
Youth Hostel Jávea for
those arriving from outside and who are interested, as well as food and
fellowship dinner.
The trobada also includes
a concert which will be
given by popular singer Pep Gimeno Botifarra
who will be accompanied
by Ahmed Touzani in his
show “De banda a banda
del Mediterrani”.
The concert will be free
and is scheduled for 11pm
on Saturday the 13th at
the Plaza del Conservatorio.
