Join Hands
for the
Montgo
Following the sad news of the devastation of the Parque
Natural de Montgo in the recent fire, a number of local
businesses have pulled together to raise some much
needed funds.
Spearheaded by Tash Lewis (TLS Books), Nicola
Franklin (High Street Heaven) and local charity Grant
A Wish, the support so far has been overwhelming.
There are sealed collection boxes in a number of
local outlets, which will be available for donations until
Sunday 5th October, the date of the ‘Join Hands for
Montgo’ fundraiser.
It costs just 1€ to participate, and the aim is to have
a human chain stretch the length of Javea’s Arenal
Beach.
All funds raised on the day will be combined with those
from the collection tins and, along with a 500€ donation
from Grant A Wish, will be distributed as follows:

which provides assistance to
those directly affected by the
