The Councillor for Social Welfare
Javea, Tere Bisquert, attended a
charity event in Sofia’s restaurant
organised by MABS, a group supporting cancer patients.
The owner was the star of a major
initiative to cut hair to send to England where it is made into wigs for
sick children.
The group also organised a raffle and
other activities raised 1,500 euros for
palliative care for patients.
The mayor has shown support for
Mabs and congratulated them for
their important work in support of
cancer patients.
