where Dustin Hoffman and Steve McQueen were

where Orson Welles turned the 9th century castle into

The author has also devised an activity for educational
institutions, through which Spanish students can learn
about the rich history of the international cinema industry
in Spain in a combined English and History lesson.
That activity is in collaboration with the L’Iber Museum
in Valencia, which houses the largest collection of toy
soldiers in the world.
After a tour of the museum in English, Spanish school
students review the history of the world through the many
historical films shot in Spain.
This activity, which is now in its second year, is free to
schools thanks to the collaboration of Banco Sabadell.
Londoner Bob Yareham is an author and English &
History teacher who has lived in Valencia since 1981.
