Valencia based writer and teacher Bob Yareham has
published a book called A Set Jetters Guide to Spain:
101 Locations and came to the Javea Parador in
November speaking about some of the more than 700
English language films that have been made in Spain,
with a special emphasis on films made in the Valencia
Community.
Javea may not be Hollywood, yet many film stars have
come to the Valencia Community to make films over
the years, including George Clooney, Hugh Laurie, Yul
Brynner, Dirk Bogarde, Sir Alec Guinness, Bruce Willis,
Michael York, Oliver Reed, Charlton Heston, Sophia
Loren, Peter Ustinov, Robert Ryan, Henry Cavell or Liam
Neeson.
