Javea Grapevine Issue 180 - LARGE FONT EDITION | Page 37
We can use ‘todo’ which means ‘all’. again we have to
pluralise & conjugate / make it fit
Jorge works on Wednesdays
Trabaja todos los
miércoles, Jorge.
The easiest though, is to use the word ‘cada’, which
means ‘each’ or ‘every’. This is the easiest because it
doesn’t have to be pluralised nor conjugated!!
We work on Thursdays
Trabajamos cada jueves.
If we want to say that we do something in July, for instance, or in a season – we use the word en for ‘in’
María & Ana always swim in the sea in July
Siempre nadan en el mar en
julio María y Ana.
However… if we want to say that something happens in
the morning – we say por la mañana
You & Javier drink wine in the evening, don’t you?
Tomáis vino por la tarde, tú y
Javier ¿No?
