Residents
receive tips to
improve security
The councilors of Public Safety, Pepa Gisbert, and Environment &Neighbourhood Councillor, Doris Courcelles visited
members of The Montgo Residents Association together with
the chief inspector police, Jose Antonio Monfort, who gave a
series of safety tips.
They provided guidelines to hinder theft and to reduce the
risk of fires and offered advice on how to respond t o an emergency or a case of domestic violence.
The tips included practicing good neighborliness, as it is very
important to have the co-operation of those who live next
door when monitoring homes or facing any risk. They also
were able to speak more about all the tasks that the local
police are accomplishing in Javea towards the prevention of
abuse and for social care.
