One of the marvellous acts that I attended
was the Juan Antonio Samaranch award
ceremony honouring our tennis player David
Ferrer. An emotional ceremony held at the
Valencia Tennis Club.
As usual I have been doing my work in the
Alicante Provincial Government, working for
Xàbia and the entire Marina Alta. I can report
to you about the work being undertaken by
the Provincial Government at no cost to the
Town Hall: the roundabout on the Avenida del
Arenal, and the playground in Pinosol Park
both of which are making good progress.
Furthermore, with the sponsorship of
AMJASA, we are continuing our policy of
supporting and cooperating with our local
young people, by renewing the help we provide
to our Paralympic sailor Rafa Andarias, who
is obtaining great results at both the national
and international level.
