Javea Grapevine Issue 176 - LARGE FONT EDITION | Page 103
Apasa was founded 15 yrs ago by a group of Spanish, English and Germans. It started from humble
beginnings: a few concrete kennels and no fencing, but over the years it has grown so much and we
now have upwards of 200 dogs, we also have quarantine kennels for when new or sick dogs are bought
in. We work with the town hall and the police in collecting dogs that have been lost or abandoned. We
need the support of our members and all the fundraising events to keep us going.
Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
Bono
Male,
Shelter since 26.10.2010
Sharpei / Pointer Mix,
DOB 15.10.2007
60 cm
This beautiful dog was found together with Bonifac which is probably his son. We were able to trace their owner
but this latter did not want them back anymore. Bono is a dog with character and he does not at all understand
what happened to him and why he now has to sit here in our shelter. He would definitely prefer having a new
home as he would make a perfect companion for someone who is looking for a real friend. Some training would
of course do him good but he is house trained and he walks well on the lead.
