Rosie female, Shelter since 26.07.2013 Boxer Mix, DOB 15.07.2011 52 cm Rosie was found on a street, in good condition, without collar. She has a strong character and she does not like other female dogs. She “can” cohabit with males though but she is not really fond of them either. We are trying to have her under control and teach her a more sociable behaviour. She is not aggressive by nature but she has never experienced a social life so far. If she had an experienced firm attachment figure she would soon become a good dog. Hopefully we can find one who would offer her a happy new life. We had to pick Pomelo up after a police call and there he was, tied to a tree on a building plot. Somebody had caught him after a couple of days of feeding. He was very scared, but jumped in our car without hesitation. At the pound he needed some time to trust us, but with some work, he will be an obedient and good dog. Pomelo male, Shelter since 21.11.2011 Podenco, DOB 15.11.2004 -68 cm Apasa was founded 15 yrs ago by a group of Spanish, English and Germans. It started from humble beginnings: a few concrete kennels and no fencing, but over the years it has grown so much and we now have upwards of 200 dogs, we also have quarantine kennels for when new or sick dogs are bought in. We work with the town hall and the police in collecting dogs that have been lost or abandoned. We need the support of our members and all the fundraising events to keep us going. Thank you to everyone for your continued support.
