The UK General Election is almost
upon us and Jávea’s own election to
decide how the town will be run for
the next four years follows close behind. There has been lots of support
and interaction with the exPat community across the parties in a way that I
don’t remember seeing, at this level,
before - which is a clear demonstration
of how this coalition led Ayuntamiento
has changed the face of Jávea so that
it looks forward rather than dwelling in
the past. Let us hope that great work done by so many of our current
councillors across all parties, in the last four years, is rewarded with
election results that sustain the value that they have placed on our
community and which carries forward the projects still to be completed. There will be an special printed edition Highlights out before the
local elections, in mid May.
