AMJASA improve the pipe network on the Montgo. The municipal water company awarded three major works La Guardia, the Portitxol and Puchol News from AMJASA Jávea’s Municipal water company AMJASA, have agreed the various works that will be undertaken to improve the network this season. The first of the three projects is replacing one of the oldest pipes in Jávea, in Cami Vell de la Mar. The work will be done by the local company Excavations Maite for 66,550 euros. The second - improving the water system in Trencall, Mila and road to La Guardia (Buigues Dalmau 130,768 euros) plus renewing streets & pipes to help public areas, and now many sections run through within private properties. The third was awarded to Aquafont-brothers Matthew by 38,901 euros renewing the pipes from the Portitxol a Balcon al Mar. The three projects have a deadline of two months and are expected to be ready before summer. AMJASA said that it was not expecting to disrupt services for any longer than was absolutely necessary to replace the junctions and complete the work. The renewal of an important section of pipe in the Montgo urbanisations of La Ermita and Montgo-Toscamar was also approved.
