During the month I had around
100 entries in my diary, working
committees and plenary sessions
at
the
Alicante
Provincial
Government, and Xàbia Town Hall.
I would like to highlight one of
the main issues occupying me
during the month, which was the
attempted privatisation of the Cabo
San Antonio lighthouse.
All my efforts were intensified on
this matter, and on 14th January I
travelled to Madrid to meet with the
President of the Ports Authority to
communicate to him in person the
unanimous rejection by all political
parties in Xàbia to the installation
of a hotel within the lighthouse
area.
