Jávea awarded the tarmac contract
2015 & the opening of calle Vicenza.
Both works will start after Christmas.
One is the plan to renew between
15,000 to 20,000 metres of paved
streets in poor condition.
The asphalt will be laid according to
the needs identified by the depts of
Public Works and Services and will
cover areas of Cap de la Nau, Cap
Marti, Arenal, Montgo-Valls, Lluca,
Tarraula or Adsubia.
The work, tendered through public
tender, was awarded to the Pavasal
construction and amounts to 755,000
euros.
Another urban contract that will take
place at the beginning of the year is
the redevelopment of calle Vicenza,
a vtal connection to Primer Montañar
that requires the demolition of an
abandoned property known as Villa
Sarita.
This work has been awarded via tender, to excavaciones Maye with a
budget of 159,500 euros.
Both projects are using the Treasury
funds (surplus from 2013), by order
of the Central Government, which
may only be invested in certain types
of project - defined as “financially
sustainable”, ie, they do not generate
future spending.
