of tourist rentals, informed of
the current situation and the
repercussions that it will have in our
municipality, and it was agreed that
from the PP the proposals that would
solve the problem generated would
be elaborated and they would transfer
to the Town Hall of Xàbia, so that the
government of Chulvi reacts to the
problem and immediately begins the
procedures to avoid the blockade of
the tourist activity that is the basis of
our local economy.
Proposals The Popular Party of
Xàbia has elaborated the proposals
that will solve this problem, giving
entry in the register of the City of
Xàbia today, Thursday, September
27, so that the municipal government
of Xàbia begin the procedures to
qualify tourist use in the homes of
our municipality in order to register
the tourist homes in the tourist
registration and are allowed to be
rented.
The proposals are referred in a first
place to the legislative amendment
introducing an amendment that
modifies the articles of the Tourist
Law that require the aforementioned
municipal
report
of
urban
compatibility, in the accompanying
laws of the Generalitat; and secondly,
it proposes a detailed detailed
modification of the General Urban
Planning Plan of Xàbia, with the
aim of introducing the use of tourist
housing in our General Plan, which
has been innovated by Law 15/2018,
of 7 June, of the Generalitat, of
Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality of
the Valencian Community.
The
law
insists
that
the
municipalities will promote the
tourist economy of the Valencian
Community and Xàbia, is a tourist
municipality by nature and declared
as Tourist Municipality of the
Valencian Community since 2000, by
the Valencian Government, so it can
not be allowed that no law stops and
does not block its local economy and
the well-being of the neighbors, for
that reason from the Popular Party of
Xàbia the government of Chulvi and
the autonomic government is asked
to act in consequence of the future
of Xàbia, without undermining the
tourism of quality , sustainable and
prosperous of Xàbia.
