The itineraries intend to make known one of the best resources of Poble Nou de Benitatxell : its agricultural landscape and the process of cultivation and harvesting of the Muscat grape .

Farmers themselves will teach the techniques and traditions of Muscat cultivation in the open field .

“ No one better than themselves to make the process known ,” said Jose Manuel Bisetto , technical coordinator of BioMoscatell .

“ The hikers will be able to cut every cluster they wish to savor and taste a selection of local products , salty and sweet , while they watch the sunset ,” he added in what is a clear commitment to experiential tourism .

The routes , which will be in Spanish and English , will be priced at 39 euros and will be made with dates to be specified from six-thirty in the afternoon until nine at night .

According to the Councilor for Tourism , Agriculture and Economic Development , Manolo Segarra , “ we want the visitor to know the philosophy of the BioMoscatell project , to know that these previously abandoned fields are now active again thanks to the regeneration drive of the agricultural sector that has led to the creation of Moraig wine and Moscatell grape juice ”.
