people: the Municipal Auditorium.
It is expected that by April 2019 we
will have at our disposal a first-class
cultural facility, with the capacity for
525 people, with the best technical
conditions and, above all, capable of
hosting the best music, theatre, and
performances etc.
Another fundamental contribution
in 2017 has been the drafting of
the Structural General Plan and its
presentation to the public.
This document will determine the
type of growth of Xàbia for the coming
years. Thus, the new PGE protects
more than 7.5 million square metres
on which construction can no longer
take place.
It avoids opening up new areas
of land for urban development and
focuses development on existing
populated areas; it increases the
catalogue of cultural and natural
assets which must be preserved.
