José Chulvi, chairman of the
Board of Directors and Mayor of
Xàbia, and the manager of Amjasa,
Josep Lluis Henarejos, explained
the company’s performance and
its evolution in recent years.
According to Jose Chulvi,
“when we arrived in government
in 2011, Amjasa had a debt of
about 270,000 euros which was
expected to double in the medium
term, which would have increased
costs to end-users, so we saw that
we needed to give it direction.
Today, Amjasa offers annual
profits that is reinvested to ensure
the improvement of the service
and also finances important
campaigns of social support”.
Amjasa now sponsors sporting,
social and cultural initiatives
developed in Xàbia. It also gives
a support plan to people and
families in need so that no one
loses basic supplies because they
cannot afford them.
