Amjasa
Representatives of the Galician
City Council of Cambre visit Amjasa
as a 100% public management
model. In six years, the Xàbia
water company has become a
national benchmark for efficiency
and transparency.
They travelled more than a
thousand kilometres to get a
first-hand look at how Amjasa
works, the municipal company
is 100% owned by the Valencian
Community. The trip was made by
the representatives of the Concello
de Cambre, led by its mayor, Óscar
Alfonso Gracía who justified
the visit to the City Council, the
desalination plant and Amjasa
by explaining that “Amjasa is a
benchmark throughout the state
of good operation and we want to
know it in depth.”
This visit takes place before
Cambre makes a final decision on
which model of water management
to implement.
