It is a pleasure to address you again through the monthly opportunity which the Grapevine gives us .
This time I wish to take stock of the latest emergency that we experienced in Xàbia caused by the storms of sea , snow , wind and rain .
As on previous occasions the CECOPAL was convened ( Local Emergency Coordination Centre ) and again the response was excellent .

At the outset , we coordinated the work of almost 150 people from the different security bodies , professionals and volunteers . From the Town Hall we issued information to all citizens hour by hour through social networks and the media .
